Pioneer Woman

Folks I am so excited by my new find I don't know how to tell you about it fast enough. She calls herself the Pioneer Woman and she not only cooks.

I'll fess up, it WAS the recipes that brought me to her site, but then perhaps the fact that 'she returned' to the country that kept me hanging around and find out more. I will highly recommend that you do the same and promise you won't regret it. You will find terrific recipes and the insight into the life and attitude of a terrific and talented sister woman.

Oh, and the page is put together so thoughtfully and beautifully that you get print out your recipes (no copy and paste here) directly from the site WITH PHOTOS!! Don't know about you, but I've never yet cooked anything I didn't see a photo of. Call me visual :)

Enjoy! I hope this page makes you as happy as it had made me.

Make it From Scratch

The motto of the blog is: Where Creativity and Frugality Intersect. It is exactly what it delivers. Ways to increase the quality of what we eat and decreasing the cost by revisiting dishes our grandparents used to make easily, happily and regularly.

Consumed (I, This)

Unfortunately for the author of this blog, his/her photos are simply too captivating and as a result I've never gone further to look for the author's identity. Here is beautiful food, great ideas for when you don't know what you want, but you want it now!

Julie's Raw Ambition

There is a fascination with raw food and the people who are able to maintain their diet with raw foods alone. Occasionally, I would like to think that I too can be that health conscious but those occasions are very short lived.

Hats off to those who do it as a lifestyle and make it look so easy and attractive. Julie is a perfect example of what I'm talking about.
